Fakemon AQUINE-F

AQUINE♀, the Sea Horse Pokémon. It sashays back and forth underwater until it ATTRACTs at least a single AQUINE♂. While it can shoot down prey with powerful WATER GUNs, it can also use its tail for offense.

For a very critical reason, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

Here's where this entire Sea Horse Fakemon evolution family started. I have this sea horse design and its mermaid-like evolution originally as a solo female-only Fakemon Water-types. However, further Fakemon research [sexual dimorphism and male pregnancy of sea horses] led me to make a gender-specific sea horse species reflecting the unique family of Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂.

Most species in Pokémon-dom are assigned two genders. There are, however, gender-exclusive Pokémon, and some of those are even assigned their own counterparts gender-wise [i.e. Tauros and Miltank, Braviary and Mandibuzz families]. And then, there's the original gender-exclusive Nidoking and Nidoqueen families as mentioned above -- same breeding family, but gender-specific Pokémon species. They have different movepools and stat distributions but the moves and stat values are still related nonetheless. Also, among the female species, only Nidoran♀ can breed, and that baby can either be a male or a female Nidoran [Tauros can never be born by a Miltank, and a Mandibuzz can never lay a Rufflet egg]. Unique enough for you?

Aquine♀ here is based on baby sea horses and is inspired by Nidoran♀ post-research. To represent female sea horses, its only job is to look pretty [evident in her make-up: the 'lipstick,' the 'blush on,' and the 'eye shadow'] to make male Aquines carry her babies for her. That's where its Cute Charm Ability comes into play. Aquine♀ is still a sea horse that shoots down prey with its snout similar to Horsea, so it gets Sniper as its other regular Ability. And finally, being beautiful means being Milotic, so it gets Marvel Scale as its hidden Ability.

Being the female counterpart of Aquine♂ [her tail swirls the opposite way than his does , no, really, it does], Aquine♀'s moves have the same inspirations as Aquine♂'s: Horsea's Hydro Pump, BubbleBeam, Smokescreen, and starting move Water Gun; Seel's Aqua Tail and Aqua Jet; and Nidoran♀'s Helping Hand. Aquine♂'s Defense Curl is reciprocated by Aquine♀'s Tail Whip, his damage-accumulating Bide is her repetitive DoubleSlap, his body-rocking Rollout is her [again] repetitive Tail Slap, his Protect is her Captivate, his sleep-inducing Yawn is her infatuating Attract, and his recoiling Take Down is her HP-based Flail. I tried my best to keep their moves similar, but keeping in mind that Aquine♂'s baby pouch is Aquine♀'s powerful fins.

Stat-wise, Aquine♀'s total is 325, taken from Seel, since my Sea Horse Fakemon lines are two-staged only [as compared to Nidoran♀'s and Horsea's three-staged families]. Aquine♀ is the more offensive gender, so I did some simple hocus pocus with the stats of its male counterpart as the Pokémon creators did with Nidoqueen and Nidoking. I transferred 15 points from Aquine♂'s 62 Defense to his 52 Attack, and gave them to Aquine♀ in the form of 67 Attack and 47 Defense. Aquine♂'s 48 Special Attack and 68 Special Defense is simply interchanged in Aquine♀. And lastly, while Aquine♂ is somewhat bulky with 55 HP and rather slow with 40 Speed, Aquine♀ is the opposite: somewhat quick with 55 Speed and a little fragile with only 40 HP.
