Fakemon EAGLEDE

EAGLEDE, the Eaglet Pokémon. EAGLEDEs are fast creatures despite their inexperience in battles. It quickly learns by closely observing how elder EAGLIBRUTEs and EAGLETHUGs hunt their prey down.

For a very critical reason, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

Eaglede and its evolutions are my generic early-to-late game Normal/Flying type Pokémon. Eaglede, the unevolved form, is basically a rugged chick of a bird of prey species. It is easily found all around my hypothetical region despite eagles being endangered species in the real world. This is also one of the reasons for its conception, the rarity of real-world eagles, that Eaglede and its evolutions serve as tributes to eagles and other endangered birds of prey.

Eaglede is obviously based on an eaglet. Specifically, it is the chick of the bald eagle species from our very own animal kingdom. This is evident in the color of its feathers: gray. I gave it a large, curved beak even as an eaglet because this will be its primary weapon during this stage. Apart from being based on an eaglet, Eaglede is loosely based on Zorro [its evolutions show the resemblance clearer]. It has a noble heart that fights against opponents in a rather dirty way. This, of course, means it can learn Dark-type moves like Pursuit, Thief, and Faint Attack.

Like Starly, Eaglede has Keen Eye as an Ability. Like Pidgey, however, Eaglede can have either of two abilities. Finally, like Taillow, Eaglede can also have the Guts Ability. I just realized that only the Taillow line has Guts, and being based on eagles, I thought Eaglede should have that Ability, too. Confusing? I know.

Being related to thievery, Eaglede is expected to be stealthy. As compared to Starly's 60 Speed and Pidgey's 56, Eaglede has a whopping 65. Eaglede also packs 45 HP, 5 more than both Starly's and Pidgey's. Eaglede has uneven 32 Defense and 33 Special Defense, setting it apart from the other two three-stage generic chicks. While Starly's physical Attack tops at 55 and Pidgey's stays at a humble 40, Eaglede stays a little bit in between with an Attack stat of 50. Sadly, Eaglede suffers with a 25 Special Attack stat, defeated by Starly's 30 and Pidgey's 35. Eaglede's stats add up to 250, five more than Starly's total and one less than Pidgey's.

My stats comparisons for my Fakemon Eaglede are limited to only Starly and Pidgey despite having a lot of Normal/Flying-typed chicks because of stats discrepancy. Only Starly and Pidgey among those chicks evolve twice like my Eaglede.
