Fakemon JERBLE

JERBLE, the Hop Mouse Pokémon. JERBLE, a common sight for trainers, are small and quick Pokémon, thanks to its large feet that allows it to hop. Its hardy teeth allows it to eat almost anything it finds edible.

For a very critical reason, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

Yay! My regional rodent! Finally able to come up with one. From my regional birds [Eaglede, Eaglibrute, and Eaglethug] to my regional bugs [Crawluxe, Chryvalis, and Diarthrone, and Soldyerm, Camourpa, and Armoflage] being submitted waaay too early, my generic rodent line sure came in late! So without further ado, I present... Jerble!

I'm thinking of this to NOT be a part of any contest because it is my generic rodent, but it seems I am meant to keep this, so I am submitting this as an entry for 's contest.

Jerble is a cross between a gerbil [generally], a kangaroo rat, and a jerboas [the last two species inspired those large feet and tail]. As mentioned above, Jerble is simply my generic rodent, so you can find it prancing about in the early routes in my theoretical region.

Jerble is heavily influenced by the other unevolved regional mammals, namely Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, and Bidoof. Looking at the moves learned, Jerble gets Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Bite, Hyper Fang, Crunch, and Super Fang from Rattata, while Sand-Attack is from Zigzagoon. However, the moves Pound, Double Kick, Low Kick, Rolling Kick, Stomp, and Mega Kick are all Jerble's own to utilize its large feet.

Stat-wise, Jerble copies Zigzagoon's 240 total. Jerble's 50 Attack is five more than Bidoof's, while my Hop Mouse's 35 Defense and 35 Special Defense as well are each five less than the Plump Mouse's. Jerble is as weak as Sentret, copying the Scout Pokémon's 35 HP. My Jerble's 20 Special Attack is weaker than any of the other rodents' but my Hop Mouse's 65 Speed is second only to Rattata's 72, just five points ahead Zigzagoon's 60.

Jerble's abilities, Run Away and Guts, are inherited from Rattata, as both are based on rats which are quick to flee and easily teased.

I think my creation of Jerble means I have completed all the generic creatures' listing in my theoretical region. Watch out for Jerble's evo, because it's so interesting, you'll get a kick out of it!
