Fakemon LARBUZZ

LARBUZZ, the EleLarva Pokémon. Its antennae can generate a strong THUNDERSHOCK as it FLAILs them to its enemies. Its pointed legs act as ground when it loses control of its shocking abilities.

For a very critical reason, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.

EDIT 06152010: Changed the order of Moves Learned. Also, added Tackle and Leech Life as its basic moves, plus Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, and Double Team. Following the rebalancing of Buzzapper's stats, Larbuzz' Attack and Special Attack are changed, too, from 45 and 60 to 50 and 55, respectively.

Larbuzz is a rather cute Fakemon which mirrors Trapinch, as this evolution line is meant to be the Bug version of the Flygon line [well, one of them]. I find it hard to separate the fact that Flygon is a dragonfly, an insect so to speak, so I created two evolution lines that is as powerful as Flygon, and Larbuzz is the unevolved form of one of those lines. I would also like to clear one thing before any suspicions arise. Larbuzz and its evolutions are NOT generic bugs like the butterflies' and moths' lines. I have sketches of those generic bugs already.

Larbuzz is based on a grasshopper, but with the types altered in order to introduce a unique Bug/Electric Pokémon. Cute as it is, Larbuzz knows how to attack. It can release a good Thundershock through its antennae or Flail towards the enemy, and, even though it has some rather stubby feet, it can still topple down some enemies with its Spark and Quick Attack. I gave it some non-damaging moves, too, like Double Team and Thunder Wave, while its starting moves are seemingly standard Tackle and Leech Life. Then, I threw in Bug Bite as it seems to be a very common attack for the unevolved form of Bug types. Also, with Bug as its superior type, I gave it the ability Swarm.

Like Trapinch, Larbuzz has a total of 290 stat-wise. I retained Trapinch's 45 HP in Larbuzz. Being an part Electric grants Larbuzz a whopping 80 Speed, and good 55 Special Attack and 50 Attack for an unevolved insect. To balance things out, I gave Larbuzz a 30 on each defensive stat. Overall, it is a rather strong but frail insect to deal with.
