NSANISHRUM, the Mushroom Pokémon. It is a mystery why NSANISHRUM keeps its arms tied behind its back, losing its balance even when walking. It amplifies its PSYCHIC abilities by inhaling its own SPOREs, but this can backfire and disorient NSANISHRUM instead.

For a very critical reason, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all future ers and ers of my works.
And after just a day, I already finished another Fakemon! The mad scientist mushroom has gone completely insane. From yesterday's Madshrum, let me present to you its evolution, Nsanishrum!
So my mad scientist Mushroom Fakemon evolved has gone nuts and lost it completely, and turned into one insane humanoid mushroom! Better be careful now! C'mon, restrain it with a straitjacket already!!!
Nsanishrum is based on mushrooms and mentally ill patients, complete with the makeshift straitjacket as well as that horrifying and devilish look on its face. Still, it retains influences from the Hydnellum peckii or bleeding mushroom for the unique cap with red blobs of toxic substances as well as the brownish color of its Shiny version signifying just like how a bleeding mushroom changes color as it ages, and the Amanita muscaria or fly agaric for its segmented body-turned-straitjacket as well as the yellow palette of its Shiny version. Nsanishrum's characteristics are still governed by these two species: fly agaric is poisonous and psychoactive, an easy call for a Poison and Psychic typing; and with Poison-typed moves commonly found in liquid form, bleeding mushrooms gave me just that, poison bags on my crazy Mushroom Fakemon. Crazy, right?
Part of its name is derived from another mushroom species, Psilocybin mushrooms or simply magic mushrooms, whose slang name is simply a shortened mush-RUM. I really, really wanted to incorporate the word "insane" in its name, but that word, plus "mushrum" are just too long! And "Insanshrum" sounds way too much like "Sandshrew;" so I just went with the word "insanity," ditched the first "i" and the "ty, and added "-shrum" to it, fitting the 10-character limit perfectly. And Nsanishrum is one crazy spelling fit for one insane mushroom! Everything fell into place! Crazy, I know!!!
Stat-wise, Nsanishrum has the influence of fellow Mushroom Pokémon: its 454 stat total is 10 points less than that of Amoonguss; its 78 HP and 43 Speed is the EXACT result when getting the average HP and Speed of Parasect, Breloom, and Amoonguss; its 80 Defense is from Parasect and Breloom, while its 80 Special Defense is from Parasect and, this time, Amoonguss. Since I decided that Nsanishrum is more Special-based as compared to Parasect and Breloom being Physical-based, Nsanishrum's low Attack at 60 is the same value as Parasect's and Breloom's low Special Attack; in return, I took the average of Parasect's above average 95 Attack and Breloom's top 130 Attack, rounded it up, and gave it to my Nsanishrum's Special Attack with a value of 113!
And since Nsanishrum has the exact same movepool as Madshrum, I will instead proceed with possible strategies for my fully-evolved Mushroom Fakemon. I'm pretty sure you'd want to keep Spore if your Pokémon learns it, so there will be three move slots left. You can choose the Annoyer path with Toxic and the Parafusion combo of Stun Spore and Teeter Dance [which has 100% Accuracy just like Spore], or just save a slot for one damaging move just in case. You can also choose the Damage-During-Sleep route with Nightmare and Dream Eater plus again a damaging move for those you cannot put to sleep. You can also build a Condominium Nsanishrum since it can learn all three "Room" Status moves: Wonder Room, Magic Room, and Trick Room, to support its teammates in battle. Or maybe, just maybe, with 113 Special Attack, you'd want a really slow Damager Nsanishrum with STABbed Psychic and Sludge Wave plus any of the following TMs to counter some of its weaknesses: Energy Ball, SolarBeam, Grass Knot, Shadow Ball, and Focus Blast. Mind you, the Damager Nsanishrum becomes a Sweeper Nsanishrum if you are able to pull off a Trick Room [you know, priority switch: slower goes first, faster goes last]. With a multitude of possibilities, I'd personally go with a mixture of Annoyer and Damager, but that's just me.
And to end Nsanishrum's description, let's end in one annoying song with some of Nsanishrum's capabilites inserted in the lyrics:
Hey, Trainer, I just met you, And I want to battle badly, So here's Spore and Dream Eater, Just call me CRAAY-ZEE!
Yeah, it would be a great addition, but Hex is completely shadowed by, well, Shadow Ball when it comes to effectiveness. By the time you get Hex to do twice the damage [100] when the foe is afflicted by a status, you could've simply done two Shadow Balls, amounting to 160 damage.
Oh lord the straitjacket. This thing is just hilarious, I love it to death. The name is quite clever, I like how you went with an unconventional spelling; it really does add to the notion that this critter is completely off its rocker.
I can just imagine all of the creepypastas this little guy would inspire.
I can just imagine all of the creepypastas this little guy would inspire.
And yeah, glad you find the name clever, quite weird yet still fit for this insane Fakemon!
Goodness, I wouldn't want to read any creepypasta involving Nsanishrum!
Thanks again for another wondeful comment!!!
