Pokemon ARBOK

ARBOK, the Cobra Pokémon. It is rumored that the ferocious warning markings on its belly differ from area to area. The frightening patterns on its belly have been studied. Six variations have been confirmed. Transfixing prey with the face-like pattern on its belly, it binds and poisons the frightened victim. With a very vengeful nature, it won't give up the chase, no matter how far, once it targets its prey. To INTIMIDATE foes, it spreads its chest wide and makes eerie sounds by expelling air from its mouth. This Pokémon has a terrifically strong constricting power. It can even flatten steel oil drums. Once it WRAPs its body around its foe, escaping is impossible. The pattern on its belly appears to be a frightening face. Weak foes will flee just at the sight of the pattern. The pattern on its belly is for INTIMIDATion. It constricts foes when they are frozen in fear.

Name Origin: cOBRA spelled backwards, replacing 'C' with 'K'

Ability: Intimidate or Shed Skin or Unnerve^PDW
Evolution: Ekans ---Level 22---> Arbok ---Trade while holding Bedrock Gem---> Snepres
Moves Learned: Same movepool as Ekans, but with the addition of Crunch upon evolving, hence: Gunk Shot, Coil, Haze, Gastro Acid, Mud Bomb, Acid Spray, Spit Up-Swallow-Stockpile trio of moves learned at the same time, Crunch, Acid, Screech, Glare, Bite, Poison Sting, and starting moves Leer and Wrap; can relearn all three Elemental Fang moves: Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, and Fire Fang

Ooh, look at that gaping mouth! Definitely frightening! It's "Gape-bok," lol. This is my Arbok fanart with a huge gaping mouth! Yay!

Took several sprite influences here to create an above average pose for my Gape-bok, and I am happy with how it turned out. I based Gape-bok from Arbok's sprites in Fire Red / Leaf Green [body], Diamond / Pearl / Platinum [head], and Heart Gold / Soul Silver [expanded chest and tail curve]. Lots of references for my Gape-bok!

Again, being a canon Pokémon, Arbok's details listed above are based on what the Pokémon creators wanted him to have. The Pokédex entries as well are accumulated from the RPGs of the Pokémon franchise, from RBY up to HGSS.

First, Coiled-kans, now Gape-bok. What am I up to? Lol.
